Yes, you can serve this smoothie in any cup. However, there is something magical about fancy glassware (it does not need to be expensive) and using a fun straw! I swear whatever I am drinking tastes better.
Miami Mint Smoothie (Protein Packed)
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup Vanilla Protein Powder -vegan I use Arbonne's Meal Replacement which contains healthy fat.
- 6 leaves Fresh mint
- 1 lime
- 1/4 tsp lime zest
- 4 oz coconut water
- 8 oz vanilla almond milk
- ice crushed or cubed ice I like mine cold so I use about a handful of ice
Instructions
- Pour vanilla protein powder shake mix into a blender.
- Add fresh mint leaves
- squeeze the juice of fresh lime into the blender and add the lime zest
- Add coconut water and ice
- Blend in almond milk to the desired consistency. I like mine thicker so I add less almond milk.
- Garnish with a lime wedge and fresh mint leaves if desired
